Classic Beefless Steak With Mushroom Sauce

This is Green Rebel’s take on the classic steak! Our Beefless Steak develops a tasty crust on the outside when seared, yet deliciously tender and juicy inside. Enjoy our steak with this plant-based mushroom sauce and veggies for a beefy experience.

Steps

  • Rub Green Rebel Beefless Steak with oil, thyme, blackpepper, and some salt.
  • Grill Steak on high heat on both sides until slightly charred (around 2 minutes). Set aside.
  • To make the mushroom sauce, saute mushrooms for 3-4 minutes over medium heat until browned. Add onion and garlic, saute until fragrant.
  • Sprinkle flour and thyme and add vegan mylk, nutritional yeast, salt, and pepper. Stir well. Cover pan and let simmer for about 5 minutes until thick.
  • Serve sauce over Beefless Steak with grilled green beans and potato wedges!
